React Job: Software Engineer-Senior Software Engineer

A highly successful Data Analytics company are looking for an experienced Software Engineer (ideally with good experience using Python) to join one of their fully remote UK-based squads. Opportunity to work on a market leading product, in a really strong technical environment.

They've been operating very successfully now for a few years and have very quickly became the market leaders within their field. Their products are designed to make a real difference in the healthcare sector - operating in the UK and the US. They've got pretty big expansion plans for 2023 and as a result are looking to strengthen at least one of their remote squads now - with plans for several others early next year.

You'd be joining a team of roughly 5 Engineers, at various stages in their careers - you'll ideally have strong experience working with Python, but the company are fairly tech agnostic providing you have good experience to quality software development and best practices. The team are also always open to experimenting with new/different technologies too and as a result even have a Go/GoLang project. If you enjoy working in a strong commercial environment that is really flexible on technologies, you'd get on well here.

You'll ideally have experience with the following;

• Python
• AWS
• HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Databases (ideally SQL Server)

The following experience is highly desirable;

• ReactJS + TypeScript
• Working with Big Data/large datasets (Spark/PySpark)
• Security experience

The team describe themselves as a really friendly and collaborative squad, so are ideally looking for a similar mould. Although the work is done 100% remotely it's crucial to them no-one feels isolated here as the team stay very well connected through many channels. Additionally, every so often they try to get the team together for some team-bonding events (Fully paid for and of course not enforced).

The salary on offer is up to £75,000 with a good deal of flexibility. They also offer pension, private medical and bonuses. Additionally, they support fully remote working so you can work freely from anywhere in the UK - with no office commitment at all.
